The Quality of the Grapes: 100% Glera from the heart of Valdobbiadene.
Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG brut is a sublime expression of the hilly territory of Valdobbiadene, where the Glera grape variety finds optimal conditions to express its purity and complexity. The vineyards, located at an elevation of 250-300 meters above sea level, benefit from a cool atmosphere and well-drained soils, contributing to the wine’s unique character.
Care and attention to detail begin in the vineyard, with the use of Sylvoz and Capuccina training forms and a planting density of 3,000 vines per hectare. The harvest, carried out in mid-September in a strictly manual manner, ensures the selection of the best grapes to obtain a high-quality product.
Production Method: Careful vinification for an exceptional result.
In the winery, winemaking begins with soft pressing of the grapes followed by cold static decantation of the must. Primary fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel vessels between 18 and 19°C, using selected yeasts. Foaming takes place in an autoclave, where the wine rests on its lees for about 3 months, giving Prosecco a unique complexity and finesse.
